The architect who oversaw the project wanted to enhance the spacious spaces of this villa by using wood tones and enhancing their materiality.
The use of natural wood as a leitmotif throughout the entire project has a very specific purpose: to visually fill the spaces and bring warmth to the entire volume.
Specifically, for the living area, we created a floor-to-ceiling oak bookcase with 8 cm shelves and 4 cm transverse sides. The bookcase extends both horizontally, with a lower cabinet composed of four compartments (two drawers and two drop-down doors), and vertically with a two-door compartment.
Completing the wall is a floor-to-ceiling oak coat rack, which provides continuity to the entire composition and is also functional, being located next to the entrance.
The side wall has been embellished with a three-compartment under-stairs cabinet and wide steps that easily invite you to the upper level.
The living area is completed with a backlit wall unit, covered in dove gray wallpaper and an olive green lacquered pendant cabinet.
In the bedroom, floor-to-ceiling rosewood paneling divides the space. Two bronzed glass sliding doors lead to the walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom, respectively.
On the opposite wall, the headboard is not a stand-alone element, but rather an integral part of the entire wall. Floor-to-ceiling rosewood paneling intersects with gray lacquered wood panels, creating a dynamic effect between the various volumes.
The walk-in closet is completely open, made of gray lacquered wood with anthracite drawers.
In the ensuite bathroom, access to the bathtub is easy thanks to three custom-made steps made from the same wood as the parquet.
The bathroom vanity consists of a suspended shelf supporting a countertop sink and a storage compartment beneath the shelf. Completing the bathroom decor is a backlit mirror with a recess for gold faucets.
The overall project offers its client a luxurious home, where every space has been carefully designed to welcome them in the best possible way. From the choice of finishes to the positioning of the lights, the entire project is designed to enhance the wood and its natural hues.
