In a project that exemplifies the fusion of refined aesthetics and intelligent functionality, our studio oversaw the design and creation of custom furnishings for a private residence, transforming the spaces through a harmonious dialogue between noble materials and innovative spatial solutions. The tailored approach that distinguishes each of our creations is evident in every room, from the convivial kitchen to the privacy of the study area, defining a stylistic continuum that enhances the uniqueness of contemporary living.
The beating heart of the living area is a kitchen conceived as a true design manifesto. The warm texture of bleached oak, used for the doors and the dramatic central structure, blends with the sophisticated neutrality of light gray lacquered wood. Black Dekton, chosen for the countertop and for targeted details, defines volumes and surfaces, lending a graphic and contemporary touch to the overall design. The distinctive element and visual fulcrum of the composition is the bleached oak structure that descends from the ceiling and elegantly extends toward the central island, serving as a sculptural base for the extractor hood. This design expedient not only fulfills a practical function but also becomes an aesthetic highlight, generating a visual and material continuity that connects the vertical and horizontal elements, amplifying the perception of space and lending the kitchen a strong identity.
Adjacent to the living area is a custom-built wall unit that redefines the concept of storage and spatial organization. Crafted from lacquered wood in a delicate light gray hue, the structure is embellished with strategic Dekton inserts and bleached oak elements, creating a material thread that echoes the finishes in the kitchen and other areas of the home. The uniqueness of this solution lies not only in the generous storage capacity offered by numerous compartments, designed to meet specific needs, but above all in its ability to integrate architectural elements. The fitted wall incorporates the sliding door that separates the living area from the sleeping area.
The project is further enhanced by the skillful use of wallpaper, selected to lend dynamism and the illusion of greater spaciousness to the entire living area, complemented by a backlit vertical corner bottle rack. The selected textures and patterns interact with the furnishings, adding a level of tactile and visual depth. A particularly interesting detail is the corner wall, where the continuity of the wallpaper conceals a flush-fitting door.
The study area itself was conceived in response to the growing need for domestic spaces dedicated to remote working. The space, entirely furnished with bleached oak elements, is a paragon of functionality and elegance. Backlit shelves provide display space and atmospheric lighting, while integrated drawers and a large desk ensure maximum functionality. To infuse liveliness and distinctive character into even this more intimate space, the side wall was covered with a sophisticated wallpaper, creating a pleasing contrast with the linear oak and adding a touch of dynamism.
Finally, the attention to detail extends to the bathroom, with a vanity unit in olive green lacquered wood, a bold and sophisticated color choice. The bleached oak countertop creates an elegant contrast while also consistently echoing the other furnishings in the home, completing a project in which each component contributes to the overall harmony, a testament to careful and personalized design. The entire project is thus an exercise in style in which the selection of materials, the purity of lines, and the intelligent spatial solutions converge to create unique spaces, capable of interpreting and enhancing the needs and personalities of their occupants.
