This interior design project, developed for an old house with cross vaults, required a great deal of creativity and attention to detail to maximize the available space and enhance the architectural features of the structure. A study was created within the property.
The study was designed with a wall-to-wall bridge bookcase with doors and a desk in white lacquered wood and teak composite. A drop-down door created by the desk created a functional yet extremely elegant workspace.
In the living room, a wall unit features a central gap created by a pre-existing niche. The wall unit's bookcase features compartments of varying sizes and layouts, with smoked tempered glass shelves creating a striking visual effect.
The bedroom is finished in oak and features a walk-in closet behind the headboard. This choice allowed for the optimization of space by creating a single bed-and-walk-in closet unit.
The kitchen extends the countertop into the living room, creating a functional kitchen space.
The entire space has been cleverly concealed by an open shelving unit that blocks out the view, lending the living area a sense of continuity and harmony.
The furnishings are completed by a double-door wall unit in the hallway and a suspended bathroom vanity in white lacquered wood with an oak shelf.
