This interior design project exalts elegance through a coherent dialogue between materials, lighting, and volumes. The home unfolds in an open-plan space where the living area harmoniously divides the kitchen, living room, and dining area, united by a common aesthetic, defined by precise material choices and integrated functional solutions.
The undisputed protagonist of the space is the central island, entirely clad in onyx-effect stoneware, combining sculptural aesthetics with everyday practicality. The countertop houses an integrated sink and a retractable extractor hood, which is activated directly from the hob. LED backlighting along the lower perimeter amplifies the materiality of the stained oak that characterizes the entire space, creating a refined visual contrast and establishing a clear hierarchy between the volumes.
The kitchen area is completed with an entire wall of columns, perfectly integrating the oven, refrigerator, and pantry. A clever interplay of solids and voids conceals a flush-fitting door that leads to a guest bathroom, perfectly blended into the overall design. Visual continuity is ensured by oak, which extends with precision to the next furnishing element.
The living area is dominated by a suspended TV unit, framed by an oak volume on the walls and ceiling. Smoked mirrors at the base perspectively multiply the space, lending visual depth and lightness to the entire composition. The television appears to float, thanks to a balanced interplay of proportions and materials.
The passage to the sleeping area is enhanced with functionality thanks to a long custom-made wardrobe, also made of oak, which extends the entire length of the hallway. More than a simple container, this element takes on the role of an architectural element, enclosing technical compartments, coat rack functions, and storage spaces.
In the master bathroom, the décor is dominated by large marble-effect stoneware slabs in bold shades of black, gold, and ivory. The matte black lacquered vanity unit features a metallic gold open compartment at the bottom, adding brightness and sophistication to the space. The countertop sinks, with contrasting gold fixtures, complete a sophisticated and contemporary atmosphere.
In the bedroom, the wardrobe transforms into a furnishing installation: a corner walk-in closet with reflective smoked glass doors and matte black profiles, backlit by warm light that enhances its volumes and transparency. The carefully designed LED lighting enhances the garments on display and transforms the closet into a true personal boutique.
